Millennium Investments And Technologies Limited is a start up company in Ghana registered to produce sustainable relief to these threats, especially in regions of Ghana, Africa and the world where access to energy are difficult or even impossible through Solar Energy Systems.
The Company expects the global market for products in this segment (now still undeveloped) to top 1 billion USD by 2016.
By 2030 the total number of people without access to electricity will still be almost 900 million, 3 billion will cook with traditional fuels and 30 million people will have died of smoke-related diseases. Perhaps one of the hardest hit sectors is agriculture. Currently agriculture is the primary earning activity of some 2.5 billion people, 45 per cent of the developing world’s population. Increased agricultural productivity is a key driver for food security, income generation, development of rural areas, and ultimately global poverty reduction.
