Within social industries (bars/restaurants/music venues), users can also view profiles of other people who are checked-in which can help them connect with friends or make new ones based on similar interests. Who wouldn’t want to go out for a drink and meet up with a friend in their area while receiving points towards a redeemable reward? They can also signup in advance for events which provides additional points and allows for the provider to staff accordingly.
The provider receives valuable marketing demographic data delivered to them within the site. Plus there is no wasted advertising coverage as the GPS lets them focus on only those relevant in the area. Users also have the option of filling out optional questionnaires which help the provider gain additional insight into buying patterns and behavior, while rewarding the user with additional points. The provider can also push down promotions to users that opt-in to receiving these communications.
This solution is fully functional and we have rolled it out to select bars and restaurants in the Saint Louis area. It has been well received by our beta testers. One of the key benefits of this tool is that it is not specific to any one industry. The primary focus will be retail, but information and services industries will also be targeted.
Our team has done extensive Consumer and B2B marketing research and gathered very useful data which brought us to where we are at today. Qualitative and quantitative data was gathered from questionnaires and social media to help us gauge interest and need for our product.
