How:
Nanotego’s patent pending solution attributes a value to each command instance based on their potential “danger”. This is determined by their current state, immediate origins and associated preceding values and possible avenues of future travel.
Our proprietary and situationally adapted multi-dimensional arrays will read out the in-built numeric representation of the “truthiness” of kernel level actions, thus presenting a graded and actionable representation of “good” or “bad” for the device in question. With pre-determined thresholds adapted to match the risk profile of the client, appropriate countermeasures will be launched.

Relevance:
The Nanotego solution is technology and platform agnostic. The near real time self-governing elements are particularly suited for use in the interconnected world where mission critical units need close to 100% uptime and where cyber defence solutions based on “checking back with base” is a huge vulnerability (being the first element an attacker will cut off); e.g. drones, satellites, autonomous vehicles, maritime ships, remotely installed control units in critical infrastructure etc.

Scalability:
Whilst each initial implementation of the Nanotego solution requires hands-on interaction for a family of computing devices, within scope is the implementation of Machine Learning elements for a Nanotego “template” to read, learn, query the intended “normal” of the target units before going live.
