Our fundamental goal is to develop a new form of technological input by utilizing neural activity. In order to do so, we have developed a proprietary predication algorithm that is able to take in raw EEG data and convert it to readily usable data. This data, for our immediate purpose of virtual reality applications, comes in the form of motor movement. Since we are using data directly from our brain, we will be able to control fine movement of virtual or physical limbs down to a single finger twitching.

We see many applications to our technology. One main goal is to integrate our system to prosthetic limbs for disabled patients. Currently those who are are lucky enough to test out prosthetic limbs (which are very few) have to undergo extensive surgery, opening up their skull and implanting a device. What we envision is a cost effective risk free system where patients can pick up an EEG, wear it like a helmet, and be able to fully control a prosthetic limb.

To supplement this technology, we also plan on releasing a virtual platform that supports our input and allows for an "open world" theme. This virtual platform will allow users to essentially live a second life with realistic movement control. The virtual platform will have "portals" to third-party environments, keeping this platform diverse.

We see further applications to our technology past virtual reality gaming into more medical and military fields. On the medical front, it can be used as an environment to promote physical rehabilitation to enhance the living conditions of the physically disabled. Military-wise, we see applications to military training providing low-risk, realistic virtual simulations.

What we hope to do here is allow the progression for a new generation of technology by going back to the basics. Mice and keyboards have allowed us to so far, and now we would like to take technology to a whole new level.
