About The 3rd Annual Global Growt...
The American Chamber of Commerce in France is the oldest US business association overseas – founded on 28 June 1894 by eleven US businessmen in Paris.
Today, AmCham represents a dynamic community of 350 members of French and American origin, of which more than 1/3 are Fortune 500 and CAC 40 Companies, 1/3 are SMEs and non profits, and the rest are individuals, start-ups and entrepreneurs.
Our mission is…
- to ensure a strong voice for the business interests of members, and formulate position papers and reports for discussion with relevant authorities,
- to organize an open, constructive and sustained dialogue with institutional and private sector actors (American, French and European) on economic and social issues,
- to enhance the visibility of our members on a national, European and international level, and communicate on AmCham’s collective actions.
Our ambition for 2020 is... to be the leading French-American business organization building transatlantic bridges and supporting future business development for cross border economic growth.
Part of a network of 115 AmChams worldwide, AmCham France is a gateway to a global and dynamic business community. The Chamber organizes roundtables with top decision-makers from U.S., French and European government administrations and international business leaders to promote a constructive dialogue on a variety of strategic issues, including: taxation, talent management, data protection, sustainable development, intellectual property rights and trade harmonization.
