in 1974, Niranjan Shah co-founded Globetrotters Engineering Corp and founded Globetrotters International, Inc. Both are engineering, architecture, management, and consulting firms based out of Chicago. He began as the first employee and grew the firm to employ over 250 talented professionals. Globetrotters was asked to partake in numerous noteworthy projects such as the Deep Tunnel Project, Midway International Airport’s Redevelopment, John Stroger Jr. Hospital, McCormick Place Expansion and design, and the facility management behind O’Hare Airport’s International Terminal 5. In addition, Globetrotters International's projects have expanded across the Philippines, Indonesia, and Belize on behalf of the U.S. Agency of International Development (USAID). The company has constructed highways, railroads, pipelines, bridges, roads, airfields, and harbors.
