Every time a parent/carer contacts me in need of a babysitter, I sort through my list of babysitters and find the best - the most local, most friendly, most flexible - babysitter around, and match them up with the family who needs them.

I am the point of contact between family and babysitter, and I am involved in ironing out every detail of each individual babysitting, and ensuring that both parties are happy.

I also provide a payment format, to be used afterwards, so no cash has to exchange hands - it is all done online, through either direct bank transfer or PayPal. There is a flat rate of £7/hour for however long the babysitter stays, of which I keep £1/hour and send the rest straight on to the babysitter. This is totally transparent and accepted by every babysitter and family, and allows me to ensure that babysitters and families both agree upon the price at the end of the night, so no one is left feeling dissatisfied.

With jobs almost every weekday, and many more on weekends, I pride myself on my almost always being able to find an available babysitter - whether the parent gives me a weeks notice, a day, or just a few hours.

I also provide the babysitters, all whom are age 15-18 and still in secondary school, with safe and frequent jobs so that they can earn their own money and become increasingly independent, in safe environments at hours that suit them and will not interfere with their studies.

All of the babysitters are guaranteed to be of high quality - they all have my personal stamp of approval, as they are all either friends of mine, or friends of my babysitting friends, who love the service so much that they pass on my details. Noa's Team is no plastic agency that merely reads CVs of wannabe-babysitters and trusts them on a whim; because we are so hyper-local, I know almost all of the babysitters myself, and those who I didn't originally know personally, I have spoken to many times since. They are all kind, friendly, and experienced, as any of the families who use the service will vouch for.

I am also in the midst of developing a platform to interpret data from previous jobs, such as which babysitters matched best with which families, and use that to predict and extrapolate so that in the future I will be able to accurately and unfailingly match babysitters with appropriate characteristics to the best families for them. This service is destined to be fronted with an always-available human face, but based in data.
