We help transit providers boost ridership, increase rider satisfaction, optimize 3rd party app developer relations and improve overall operational efficiency. The most effective way to reach these goals is to embrace GTFS data standardization. Omnimodal supports the whole pipeline of GTFS transit data, from creation to analysis, through consulting, software as a service (SaaS), custom software development, and hardware solutions.
Our comprehensive GTFS integration solution includes: 1) providing GPS hardware trackers as necessary; 2) digitizing the transit provider’s schedule; 3) integrating with 3rd party apps like Google Maps and 4) improving operational efficiency with marketing automation and data analytics features. Our competitive advantage is that we are able to roll out real-time information faster, cheaper and to more platforms, while still giving them the insights into operational efficiency and impact on quality of life that transit providers are looking for.
David and and Nathan are addressing an underappreciated problem - poor schedule reliability - that adversely affects hard working students and employees who use mass transit to get to school or work. Their solution marries social and technological insights to offer a platform that improves rider convenience and, potentially, mass transit ridership. David and Nathan have earned enthusiastic support for their proposal by winning UCF's Social Venture Competition and $25,000 investment from Rally, Central Florida's social enterprise accelerator. They have identified key stakeholders and the benefits their solution offers, and have connected these interest with a creative business model that has been fortified by extensive feedback from potential customers and startup coaches. I'm confident that David and Nathan will be successful in their efforts to improve public transportation and uplift the lives of those who count on reliable mass transit.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with the Omnimodal team through their participation in our social enterprise accelerator, Rally. They were the winners of our recent picture night and our social venture fund will be making an investment in the company. We believe that Omnimodal has the ability to meet a real need in the marketplace to improve real time visibility to mass transportation schedules, especially bus routes. What impressed us most about the team during their time in our program was their ability to actually bring on two new clients while working with us, while also continuing to work with our team and mentors to refine their business model. We look forward to continuing to work with David and Nathan to help them grow.
David and Nathan the co-founders of Omnimodal have garnered evidence that their product is in demand by municipalities. This has moved beyond just an insightful business idea to one with traction and a valid business model. David and Nathan are not only technically skilled with the computational aspects of their product but also astute businessmen seeking to make it easier and more efficient for individuals to use public transportation.
