Businesses can also send questions to their own customer bases or social media followers by inviting them into a private community that is hosted inside the OnePulse platform. When an organisation creates a community, they are the only ones who can identify that group of people as their own and OnePulse will keep them engaged on behalf of the organisation.

We generate revenue by charging businesses to use our system and they pay per response they receive. We currently offer two pricing models to our business clients: pay-as-you-go or bulk buy. Pay-as-you-go has no tie in and clients pay whenever they use the system. Bulk buy is when businesses pay upfront for blocks of responses and receive a discount.

Our mobile app users respond to the micro-surveys in exchange for a micro-payment (typically 20p). Businesses can only ever ask 3 questions keeping the engagement short, sweet and perfect for smartphone users. Once a mobile app user hits £5 earnings, they can withdraw them from OnePulse using PayPal. It is more than about just the money on OnePulse; we designed the mobile app experience to appeal to peoples intrinsic motivators as well as their extrinsic motivators. To our users, OnePulse is as much about having a voice and affecting the world around you, as it is about earning money.
