This is an opportunThe One Spark Idea Festival is a two day Innovation Festival that is held in Jacksonville, Florida, on April 6 & 7, 2018 celebrating innovators and entrepreneurs, and their ideas. This is an opportunity to engage with the community, network, crowdfund, obtain feedback on your idea and maybe win a little cash. The 2016 festival attracted more than 50K people in one day! The Festival will run 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM both days and will be preceded by a kickoff event Thursday night, April 5th.
Filling out the application on f6s is free. Those accepted to exhibit and promote their idea, product or service at the Idea Fest will pay $125.
The event will be structured by category or "Zones". Those zones will be Healthcare (HealthSpark*), Education (EdSpark*), Technology (TechSpark*), Social Good (WorldSpark*) and Consumer Solutions LifeSpark*.
Voting is back at One Spark! Attendees will vote to determine the top ideas in each Spark* Zone. The top vote receivers in each zone will win a cash prize and will compete against each other in a real time voting competition for the crown of Top Creator of the Year. The Top Creator will receive a prize package including cash and sponsor donated services to help you take your idea to the next level.
Additionally, five teams will be selected within each Zone by judges to compete in a presentation competition, called Spark Tank. This is a more business oriented competition to evaluate the idea's business potential. The winners of each Zone will receive $5,000 and will then compete for an additional $20,000 to determine the The Spark Tank Champion.
Spark Tanks are our version of a pitch competition. Each team is given 45 minutes with a team of judges, from Venture Capital, category relevant entrepreneurs, and subject matter experts. The first portion of each pitch is the presentation of the idea to cover specific topics (idea, market size, business model, etc.). The second portion is a Q&A session from the panel of judges, followed by advice and feedback.
If you are ready to be in the arena, share your ideas, receive great feedback, crowdfund and network, please apply. Show Jacksonville how you create!more
