I’ve known some of the team member for years and have a high degree of confidence in their ability to execute and deliver on the OUT vision. The combination of a promising idea with the right team that is able to execute on the idea is undoubtedly rare. I believe that this team possesses this rare combo. David’s creativity, thought process and professionalism is truly exceptional. Witnessing Dave thoughtfully explore business models and respective engineering solutions and then marry the solution with a clear execution strategy left a deep impression on me of Dave’s capabilities.
I am confident that Dave along with the rest of the team will help Out succeed and make a substantial impact on the community.
I have worked with Steve on a number of contracts developing mobile and web applications for startups and other tech companies. Steve is a rockstar engineer and the kind of person you can really rely on. On our first contract, he put in countless hours on a moment's notice, learning a completely new technology, just to help our client nail an impromptu investor meeting. He's exactly the kind of person you'd want on your founding team, I have no doubt that his skill and drive will make Out a success.
Based on my experience with people in the team, and the problem they're solving, I believe Out has the potential to go big, and adopted globally. Group coordination is exactly the kind of thing that could use a tech facelift - many deal with it on a weekly basis, it’s not going away, and lots of new tools are now available to make it easier.
I know David from his days at Google, and he brings valuable technological experience and a great knack for consumer products. Together with the rest of the founding team, I’m sure they will make it a success!
I absolutely love this idea and think this team has all the strengths to take it to market. I was with the founders during Remote Year and got to see them develop the idea from concept to where it is now. I've gotten to use it as well during beta phase, and it just keeps getting sexier and more fun to use. Looking forward to it taking off!
I worked with Nissa Szabo when she represented the interests of the technology community on behalf of the Colorado Technology Association. She is an extraordinarily brilliant and focused person who is able to build bridges between varying personalities and positions and also get the necessary work accomplished, even when details are tedious. She is both creative and detail-oriented. I look forward to seeing her progress in the startup world, as I know she will bring her background in politics and experiences from working abroad with Remote Year to persevere and find success with Out App.
I worked with David Arvan at Google and he is one of the most talented engineers I know – I can't wait to see what he does next. Location sharing is one of those problems that nobody has done right, and Out sounds like the perfect solution.
Given my experience working with the founding team in previous roles, I'm confident that the OUT team will succeed in their latest venture.
David Arvan brings the better part of a decade's worth of experience to the engineering team having worked at Yahoo, Google and Nest on a wide range of front-end, consumer targeted products and services.
Nissa is an experienced hand in the marketing and startup world having previously worked in the Colorado State Assembly and personally shepherding numerous pieces of legislation that was crucial to facilitating entrepreneurship and industry in the Rocky Mountain State.
I'm confident that given their history, experience, and drive, OUT will be a success and a significant technological contribution to the startup community at large.
