There is no solution that spans both the requirements of education and business. But, the lack of professional, social, entrepreneurial, and personal skills is not just an education or just a business problem - this is a shared problem. Our measurement is the most comprehensive, the only one that integrates both observable behaviors and science-based measurement, gives teachers tools to integrate skills learning into THEIR curriculum, and helps all concerned participate in the development of these skills.
We’ve taken science validated over 60 years, a process developed in business over 16 years, and a education dissertation-proven methodology for integrating skills learning into any curriculum and unified them under one system.
Although it isn't required to use our entire system, typically, our customers first use the Pairin survey for creating a baseline understanding of how developed students or staff are in the 105 attitudes, motivations and behaviors we measure. They either then use our default college/career targets to identify gaps to focus development, or create a custom standard based on top performers in their program. We even create custom predictive profiles of any group, like dropout students.
Educators leverage Dr. Tara Laughlin's methodology for integrating skills learning into any curriculum, along with exercises and lessons. They can daily track student development with our observational rubrics that are aligned with the quantitative measurement. At the end of a school year, students take our 15-20 min survey again to measure the growth as an aggregate across any class or group.
