PANATOMY Digital Diagnostics is an innovative support software for medical imaging specialists, providing the first interac-tive image-based diagnostic reference system for radiology. By increasing diagnosis speed, ease and accuracy, PANATO-MY boosts doctors’ capacities and saves lives.
Across all medical fields and on a global scale, there is an increasing demand for visual diagnostics including CT and MRI scans. While most medical professions have a digital reference system, radiology does not. Instead, radiologists still rely on text-based web databases, digital or even print-books for their diagnosis related research. PANATOMY fills this void by providing an interactive viewer toolset that shows both an annotated anatomic reference model as well as high-quality in-teractive image stacks of real patients containing all relevant diseases. For the first time, medical professionals that work with image diagnostics get access to a complete, high-quality database with relevant patient scans. The Viewer is based on the database of the Charité University Hospital, home to the biggest radiology department in Europe, with the most exten-sive library of pathological images to date, giving access to images of every known disease.
An intelligent search function using medical semantic indexing allows an image-based information retrieval according to medical professional and image-descriptive terminology.
The Viewers are accessible via an online platform as a SaaS-solution, both mobild and on desktop. Integrated into the re-search process, they accelerate and facilitate research where research is necessary. Using PANATOMY, radiologists make faster and more accurate diagnoses, with an increased capacity of up to 15% in trials, benefiting both doctors and patients. The product is divided into different modules, according to the medical specializations that can be licensed individually. The first Module, the NEURO region, will be market-ready for Q2 2016, other Modules will follow until Q2 2017.
