My first startup was called Midwest Skier and focused on the sport of Free skiing. I founded it when I was 15. It evolved to encompass an online social platform (launched in 1999), a weekend long event, film production, marketing, and writing for a few different publications. I sold this company during my time in university in 2006. It was one of the biggest learning experiences of my life, and it was amazing to foster and build a community around something I loved (free skiing).
