By becoming the google analytics of the offline world, Placense brings the granularity of online analytics to the offline world of property analytics. We empower decision-makers in the real estate sector to understand consumers’ offline behaviour in any given location – all without the need to install hardware or conduct surveys. In a click of a button, property owners can instantly access information on any European location to understand local visitor interests, demographics, retention, where they come from and where they go afterwards, etc. By utilizing machine learning algorithms, we are able to extract the essential insights from millions of smartphone signals to turn them into anonymized statistics. Smartphone signals are provided by app users which are independent from our clients, allowing clients insights beyond their own data.

But our cause goes beyond data analytics: We democratise access to location and people insights for European businesses. For too long have Google, Amazon and Co. been able to use their information monopolies -our data- at the cost of European companies and society.
