The idea sprung from founder Marie’s ten years of work as a Project Manager and PM consultant, where she experienced a lot of frustrated clients and coworkers who didn’t grasp the full extent of the project management tools and methodologies they were working with – often the user spends more time understanding the tool/methodology than the actual project planning.
With Plan Penny we aim to build a visual tool that enables the user to understand the product at first glance and to generate easy to understand project plans. With simple drag and drop features we give the user an intuitive tool that helps them get a visual overview of their work-life and projects.

Plan Penny is a web-based planning tool with a supplementary native app - designed with care and a sharp focus on usability - we only add the features that are absolutely relevant, involving users in the process and focusing on keeping the interface clean and easy to overview.

The founding team represent the female intuition for planning and project management and the creative freelancers with sharp aesthetics and minimalistic focus. We keep each other in check to stay true to the concept and the users' wishes.
