We live in a world where the average lifespan of a trans woman in the US is 35 years old, 2 out of 5 LGBTQ+ kids are kicked out of home after coming out, and 41% of LGBTQ+ people report attempting suicide at some point in their life. Our community is given a difficult path to travel from an early age, and that often leads to poverty and in many cases death.

On top of the aforementioned statistics, LGBTQ+ people also lack safe daytime spaces to gather. Please Bloom is here to create a different kind of space. We work to create safe daytime spaces for LGBTQ+ people that feed back into the community. We believe in a world where every LGBTQ+ person is provided for and is given a place to exist. Our self contained spaces are composed of a wellness center and a coffee shop to create a "third place" setting. Our goal is to not only provide spaces that develop safe connection between people, but also actively provide resources to the community. We receive rent from the doctors, generate revenue from coffee, events and retail to reinvest back into the community through medical care, mentorships and employment. We want to create a new picture for what the future can be as someone who is LGBTQ+.
