By marrying this large consumer base to the women-owned businesses they seek to support, Portelle creates a win-win for both consumers and vendors. We have the ability to scale organically by aggressively adding new businesses to the portal, and by forging strategic partnerships with like-minded women’s organizations.

We are building a platform that will allow us to manage vendors and our members without an affiliate network. We know that other platforms can be costly to join and affiliate fees can be steep, so we are offering free access to both members and vendors. There is no set-up fee, monthly fee, or transaction fee for vendors. We are determined to level the playing field so that small companies can thrive alongside their larger counterparts.

How does it work? Shoppers enter our portal, search for goods and services, and are directed to a vendor’s site. Upon purchase, vendor pays a pre-negotiated commission to Portelle. Portelle splits that commission 50/50 with the member who can keep, spend or donate their cash back to a non-profit of their choice.

Our target market is women from 25-54 and our initial focus will be women-owned companies in the fashion and beauty verticals which makes for a total addressable online market is $80B.
