Very recently Machine Learning technologies have been applied to Computer Vision, NLP, and Social technologies to make order of magnitude improvements in software interaction. Positronic IO aspires to become Twilio for AI. The promise of AI technology is extraordinary. An enormous amount of ink is spent in the national media describing the promise. The challenge is connecting the technology to the problems that it might solve. The Microsofts, Amazons, and Googles of the world are singularly focused on building platforms for building solutions (i.e. AzureML) rather than solving specific problems, except in rare demonstrations of the technology like 'Guess My Age' (how-old.net/). Application developers will use simple Positronic APIs to consume these complex neural network services then surface that value to their end consumers with applications that learn how to interact with people instead of making people learn to interact with the software. ...
