Cumulative chemical exposure accounts for the majority of risk for disease onset, estimated to be greater than 90% for cardiovascular, lung and cancers. These exposures include chemicals resulting from our own physiology and microbiome, as well as external factors such as diet, drugs, toxicants and pollutants. Our ability to harness this information for disease diagnostics and personalization of therapy is severely limited by our lack of ability to rapidly detect such chemical exposures in human. Precision Prognostics has developed a novel analytics platform that can now measure thousands of small molecule chemicals in a single drop of human blood in less than 30 seconds in a cost effective manner.
