QBLabs, experts in electronics design and development, leads the way in Apple-integrated digital health wearable technology. Our product, MovementTek, transforms wearable tech as we know it, empowering caregivers to predict and prevent life-altering falls and hip fractures.

QBLabs designed a fall prediction system to prevent falls before they happen. An inconspicuous sensor monitors the senior’s balance, and in conjunction with a back-end processing platform, acts as an early warning system notifying caregivers of the issue for those most at risk.

Much more than a fall alarm, we provide integrating predictive analytics with precise wearable sensors, secure Internet of Things technologies, and existing communications infrastructures (e.g. broadband services), tracking an elder’s movements throughout the day, quickly learning when they are routinely out of their balance safety zone, predicting when the falls typically happen. This preventative system is educational for the car...

This preventative system is educational for the caregiver and the patient.

Based on a small, postage stamp sized device, the sensor clips onto the waistband or shirt of the patient. Six axes of orientation data (forward, backward, sideways, pitch, yaw, roll) transmits at a high rate wirelessly through a Bluetooth Low Energy signal to a bridge device receiver, then into the nursing alarm system network.

Working with Apple’s HomeKit framework provides a rational and safe solution for home and even medium-size industrial automation. With a fully hardware-encrypted database, ephemeral passwords, and secure communications links, HomeKit provides security far beyond anything that exists today.

Limited mobility due to age, illness or injury, affects every aspect of a person’s life. Our vision is a world filled with active adults, unhindered by physical limitations due to age, injury, or disease.
