Rackspace Cloud: The Worlds Hosting Provider When It Matters Most.

Startup deal is good but beware: startups automatically signed up for "managed hosting" and billed seemingly extraneously. Most will go against a credit but will occasionally role into monthly fees. Also, when term expires, 600$+ dollars is due! Still working to have issues resolved. I'd recommend amazon, softlayer, or other hosting providers. Ricardo, Sorry the free hosting for a year didn't work out for you. We do continue to bill the account past the 12 months with the card on file. The amount due on each account will vary based on usage. We also send an email at the start of the discount term to let you know the end date as well as two additional emails towards the end to notify you of the end date. Additionally, when you sign up you can elect not to have the managed support. You can remove it at any time as well. I'm sure it's no different with the other providers you've listed, so I'm curious why you would recommend the others over us?
