College has always been an important era for students to learn to manage their lives in an efficient way. This part of life naturally comes with taking many journeys, therefore students have always been looking for a cheaper way to manage their day to day transportation methods. As students who studied away from their hometown, we were always confronted by problems such as not being able to find a car, arriving late to classes, having to wake up very early in the morning, and hearing about these travels being dubbed as “unsafe”. But what if there is a way to make it safer? What if it is regulated and completely organized? And more importantly, wouldn’t being able to track every transportation record assure the passengers and their families of their travel safety?

We are going to provide a positive solution to these issues and some other financial and safety-related problems. We have meticulously analyzed every solution and possible aspect and we have reached at a cheap and effic...

We have meticulously analyzed every solution and possible aspect and we have reached at a cheap and efficient answer that has been used in many modern countries for years, that answer is carpooling.

We have based our sole focus on presenting a carefully programmed carpooling solution for students and their transportations. Since out of city travels by personal vehicles are very common among Iranian students, they have used this system traditionally without any kind of organization which can cause financial and safety risks.

Statistically more than 5000 students travel from Tehran and Karaj to QIAU and 1500 of them are already using the “traditional” carpooling method where drivers would normally “offer lifts” to their fellow students in exchange for cash in order to pay for gas or other expenses. This creates a huge unused resource that we are going to use in our system in order to make these journeys cheaper and enhanced with a modern and interactive user interface which appeals to people, especially to students who are the main goal of this system. We are going to release our platform on the web and on mobile apps which are going to make it very easy for users to book and plan their trips. This is a huge step forward from the traditional methods because it saves time, reduces travel-related stress and anxiety and is also simply safe and moderated.

Our focus on students is the first phase of our system. We use intricate algorithms in order to regulate carpooling between cities and we hope that our strong system background provides a practical answer to solve these challenges.
