Rcup is a french start up developing a solution in both B2C & B2B. Based on 3D connected insoles, the company is working on the development of all the software related to this solution.

The target markets of Rcup are multiples, through IoT and wearable angles :
- For sporty people (B2C and B2B2C), with a pressure map and an extremely accurate follow-up of the posture.

- Silver economy (B2C and B2B2C), with more than 1/3 of the French population aged of 60 or more, and a growing rate of activity. Elderly people now aim at staying at home as long as possible, and a non-stigmatizing activity tracker (compared to wristbands) is key factor of success.

- Industry of the future (B2B), for more wellbeing, productivity and quality (CAGR of the wearable : 70%; Industry of the Future will be the market size of the US economy in 2035)

Today, the development of the hardware is made in direct supervision with a partner and provider, in Ile de France. Collaborations with some labs are still...

Today, the development of the hardware is made in direct supervision with a partner and provider, in Ile de France. Collaborations with some labs are still running, like the CEA-Leti and the CNRS, to support the innovation and ensure the feasibility of the project.
On its own, Rcup is focusing on the software development. With three employees, in technology, finance and sales, Rcup is launching a recruitment process for 20 persons in the next 18 months. These people will be R&D engineers, IoT specialists, maths engineers and software developers (iOS, Android, Web...).

To support the development, Rcup is also recruiting Growth Hackers to increase the profitability of the company.

Rcup is currently competing for the CIN (Concours d'Innovation Numérique) from BPI and is, in the mean time, going to raise money for its further developments. The money raised will be used for recruitments, and industrialization, generating tangible cost reduction, increasing the future revenues and margins.

The vision of the company and its founders is to ensure the wellbeing in every situation, and be a smart life companion. Wearable are the occasion to increase connectivity and improve the everyday life in an invisible way. By creating new usages, Rcup wants to collect Data, to improve all algorithms, and create new ones.
