Our initial focus is London, where 839,000 households rent privately. We target landlords with 1/2 properties - 40% of the market - and anyone looking for a home to rent.

The RentSquare team were finalists in the Housing Open Data Challenge run by Nesta and the Open Data Institute. Their proposal to develop a platform which would create a space for renters and landlords who were looking for a fairer rent impressed the judges in the challenge enough to get them through to our incubation support phase.
