Annual Listening Forum:
Every year we organize an annual listening forum to create a safe space for our Afro-Caribbean community members to voice their concerns around mental health issues, and services anonymously. This event is free admission and we welcome everyone.

Continuing Education for Providers:
We use the collected data and narratives from the population to provide courses to mental health providers inform services.

Mental Health First Aid Training:
We collaborate with local churches and other faith institutions to certify department leaders and members in Mental Health First Aid. Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour certification course by the National Behavioral Health Council.

Co-payment Sponsorship:
With the support of community donation, we plan to sponsor the first two co-payments for 100 Afro-Caribbean Individuals to encourage the use of therapeutic services.

This provides education on symptoms and prevention, assists with setting personal (Self), academic and professional goals (Vision), encourages with community integration (Community), offer weekly virtual peer support and referral to long-term mental health services if desired.
