The IoT Accelerator Program is highly structured and is tailored to address the key challenges international startups face, such as:
- Achieving focus and cutting through the noise of the IoT landscape
- Building a business model using the Lean Startup approach
- Creating a sales & marketing plan to have meaningful conversations with customers in the US
- Estimating the required resources for market entry and scale up
- Finding a friendly ecosystem to test commercial hypothesis
Getting access to growth funding and exit channels (e.g. IPO, acquisition)

For the US portion, the top 5 startups will have access to the resources they need to scale up in the US (paid by Sente), including:
- Creation of a US entity
- Establishment of a US bank account
- A US business address in Chicago (at the Connectory / 1871) (chicagoconnectory.com/ and 1871.com)
- Access to office space in Chicago
- A 4-week intense business development experience and a Demo Day in Chicago (flight and accommodation provided by Sente for one founder), with access to Sente's extensive network of industry contacts in the US
- An additional 9 months of mentoring from the Sente team
- 3 additional flights to Chicago (1 per quarter) for further business development
- Up to US$100,000 in funding from Sente investors after Phase 2 [NOTE: the $100k funding will be an additional round, not included in the 6% equity for program fees, but will be at a valuation and terms mutually agreed by startup and the investor(s)]

In lieu of program fees, Sente’s investors will receive 6% equity in graduating startups.
