Application Due Date: October 31st, 2018 at 5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time for US, Canada, Europe, Brazil, and Mexico Candidates only. Southeast Asia, Australia, and China applications are due on November 10th, 2018.
We’ll use this application process to further narrow it down to up to 13 female founders to become our 2019 cohort of Sephora Accelerate fellows.
There are a variety of criteria our team is using to make the final selection. Some of the most important are:
Vision — Do you have the passion needed to make your business successful?
Innovation — Are you solving a specific need that is not yet served by an existing company?
Product — Do you have a working prototype or product sample that has been iterated on at least once to incorporate user feedback?
Plan — Do you have a business model or a strategy to grow your company?
Social Impact — Are you eager to incorporate social impact into your business mission (if you haven’t already)?
While not a firm requirement at the time of application, founders who go through Sephora Accelerate are expected to commit to incorporating social impact into their business mission—i.e. sourcing responsibly, adopting environmentally friendly practices, or otherwise creating positive impact in their community.
Due to the busy holiday season in November and December, we will need a few months to evaluate applications from all countries. Please be patient. You can expect to hear from us by mid-January regarding next steps on Round 1 interviews. We plan to announce the 2019 cohort on March 8th.
