Sinetic AV is a software design company, specialising in multidimensional sound, vision and music production interfaces.

Sinetic owns the patent (GB1419740.4) for a revolutionary software design that allows the user to produce, edit, and visualise live electronic music in a more intuitive way than any previous method. Owing to developments in interactive technology the software allows the user to create individual sounds and then bring these together in 3D, like a conductor of a virtual orchestra.

Our aim is to grow a profitable business and further employment opportunities in the North East of England by creating innovative software solutions for the music industry that has a wide range of benefits for DJ’s, electronic artists, nightclubs, games developers, wellness centres, museums, and planetariums.

Due to new lower cost product solutions and mobile apps, sales of computer software and hardware is constantly changing and value added resellers require new innovations to keep the market fresh and to drive sales. Early indications suggest that the strong resellers in the market are receptive to new tech and would welcome a new innovative product from Sinetic, specifically Native Instruments, the worlds largest semi-pro audio company.

Over the next 6-months Sinetic will build a proof of concept (POC) prototype and launch a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds to develop their minimal viable product (MVP) for market. The campaign will help Sinetic generate a buzz, build an initial user-base, prove market traction, create a community of user testers, and establish opportunities for potential value added reseller (VAR) relationships, or cross-license partnerships.

Return from sales via VARs typically range between 30-50%, based on a predefined recommended retail price (RRP). Ableton Live (nearest competitor product) has a RRP of £449. Sinetic will assume an introductory RRP of £399, and expect to see a return of £150-200 per unit sold. Based on typical market adoption data, Sinetic anticipate building a user base of 100,000 within the first year of release, via a strategic alliance with an established partner company. This would yield a return of between £8.4m from a first release via a VAR (B2B) route to market. However, a yield of up to £40m could be achieved via a B2C and/or cross-license route.
