I know Srinivas Peddi from 2008 while leading Intellectual Property and Engineering Quality at GE Energy. Srinivas demonstrated passion in engineering design, in usage of Design for Six Sigma methodology and its toolkit towards Robust design. As a change agent (full time lean six sigma black belt for 2 years), he engaged a team of 100 engineers and enhanced their understanding on lean thinking that resulted in significant ‘$’ savings through lean workouts, execution with perseverance and leadership without authority. He built important competencies of understanding stakeholder needs, simplifying complex process problems, and accelerating change. Upon his black belt certification, Srinivas was promoted to an Engineering manager role where he built a strong foundation on people development.
