The pitching contest is for 50 companies selected from startups that register above. Each presentation will be 6 minutes in English. The requirement to enter the contest is a product that has been launched in beta within the last 24 months.

April 24th, Slush Asia will take place in Tokyo bringing together people with big dreams and the determination to make them a reality. Born in the cold winter of Finland, Slush has grown to become one of the world’s largest startup and technology events and has made a second home in Asia.

The goal of the event is to light the same type of entrepreneurial fire in the eyes of Asian youth as Slush has done in the Nordics. This will be achieved through talks by experienced entrepreneurs and a pitching competition.

The talks by experienced entrepreneurs will focus on stories about how they eventually became successful, but also on all the failures and near-death experiences they needed to go through to get there. The talks will demystify entrepreneurship and encourage a new generation of entrepreneurs, the true heroes of Slush Asia, that will go head to head in a pitching competition.

Team Slush Asia is setting out to do what many talk about, but few dare to try – making Asia the place where global success stories are built from now.
