Rather than building their own, separate app, we offer a ready-made platform to map culture and heritage. It's a layered map, on which an infinite number of organizations can place information. A QR-code brings users directly to a specific Layer on the map. The user can also acces multiple Layers from different organizations and sources.

Where most regions have dozens of separate local apps, we aim to bring these stories and sources together on one map. Every organization has its own expertise, but TOGETHER they tell the whole story. Even interactive routes (games) with Augmented Reality, that immerse the visitors in these stories.

Eventually, we want to be a 'wikipedia on location', with information and stories told from every angle. Standing in front of a church, you can acces information from the local archive, the Christian society, a historical society, architecture, etc.

Spacetime was founded in a primary school classroom and started out as a time capsule. The first use case of the platform was in education: pupils wonder about their heritage and research traces of history in their neighborhood. They then place these stories on the map, for all the world to see. Next year all Dutch primary schools will be invited by the Dutch Monument society to visit and research a local monument, thus generating a nationwide layer on the map with content placed by pupils. This works on every school level!

Spacetime offers a unique way of collaborating, as they can use it as their own app within a platform that services a combined (and thus much bigger) user base. They also love the connection with the educational field and the new businesscases that have emerged from the collaboration with destination marketing organizations (DMO's).

Furthermore, we not only map heritage! We connect past, present and future. The main aspects of Spacetime are TIME and PLACE. 'Here and now' or 'then and there'. So you can get information on what is right in front of you, or plan a trip to little fortified city next week, showing you time tables at stage level, video clips of the performers, even the available parking spaces and local corona measures, if any.
