Sparsity was born with the purpose to commercialise the technology developed by the Data Management research group (DAMA) of UPC-Barcelonatech. Its main product is Sparksee, a high performance graph Database Management System that allows for the management and analysis of large amounts of data (Big Data).

Sparsity has a long trajectory partnering with big players like IBM, Oracle and CA Technologies, and collaborating in a large number of R&D projects funded by the EU. Thanks to these efforts, in 2015 Sparsity has been named as the SME with highest innovation capacity in Europe by the European Commission....
