Stadia Accelerator Fall 2015

Stadia Accelerator helps established sports business startups get to the next level through the combination of equity investment, intensive mentoring, and connections to the top sports business executives in the country. We leverage our network of industry executives, including leadership from teams, leagues, sponsors, manufacturers, marketers, investors, and business service providers, towards the end goal of growing your business. And we finish the delivery by helping companies close their next deal, land their next investment round, or find an exit partner.

Stadia Accelerator is a 10-week business development program held twice a year in St. Louis, Missouri. Each program features a cohort of five companies; each company receives an equity investment of up to $100K and commits to attend a targeted curriculum at Stadia offices in St Louis each Thursday-Friday of the program (arrive Thurs AM, depart Fri PM)

The Accelerator curriculum includes:
o Dedicated mentoring from sports industry executives experienced in your target market
o Specialized mentoring from executives experienced in your areas of need
o Mentor-led sales/lead generation
o Collaboration/networking with other cohort companies
o Industry networking and guest speaker events
o Direct connections to potential partner companies who have expressed interest in your product/service category
o Graduation “Demo Day” where you pitch your company to invited VC, investors, industry partners, and media representatives.

After graduation the top company in each cohort may be eligible for follow-on funding up to $300K.

Stadia Accelerator targets sports-related startups in the following categories:
o Equipment
o Apparel
o Software/apps
o Big data
o Nutrition
o Training
o Fantasy sports
o Gaming

We prefer companies with proven product and sales; our typical target revenue ranges from $50,000 to $2,000,000.
