Startup Next Los Angeles Fall 2014

Our program has helped graduates get accepted into Techstars, 500 Startups, Imagine K12, AlphaLab and many other top accelerators. If you are looking to apply for and get accepted into an accelerator, we can help. Startup Next will get your team focused on the progress needed to stand out from others applying through our framework of top-quality mentorship, content, and referrals to accelerators or investors.

During Startup Next, teams will:
*Test their startup idea and team
*Get weekly hands-on mentorship & pitch coaching
*Be held accountable and held to focus on important growth metrics
*Grow their network of startup experts and other founders

Startup Next is an intense mentorship program consisting of 3 hour weekly (once a week) sessions for five weeks. Teams are expected to hustle outside the sessions and complete a small set of reporting deliverables each week in preparation for the mentorship.

Following the program, Startup Next teams that have demonstrated their readiness and progress will have access to a number of value-added resources from the Startup Next global team including:
*Exposure through demo days & special events
*Introductions & referrals to accelerators or investors partners of Startup Next
*Continued mentorship from successful entrepreneurs or domain experts in the startup space
*Connections to potential customers looking to work with high quality and scaling startups

What is the cost to participate if accepted?
*This program does not take any equity
*There is a program fee of $300 per team member. Teams will only need to make a payment only after being accepted into the program
*The program fee helps us cover the local logistics and support of volunteer mentors & facilitators.

What are the application requirements?
*2-4 founders on team
*Teams must have a hacker/hustler combination
*Unique, technology-enabled startup idea attacking a big market
*Some proof of an MVP
*Some level of previous customer validation
*Team video
