StormSensor’s mission is to meter the last unmetered utility – stormwater and sewer – by providing city-scale, real-time flow data in critical underground water infrastructure. These features aim to solve specific pain points for resiliency programs, city managers, and stormwater and sewer directors, while simplifying the interpretation of the real-time data, which can be overwhelming at a city level. Examples include features targeted to coastal cities, including Tidal Flow Separations, Tailwater Alerts, and Real-Time Storm Events Analysis.
StormSensor’s solution is deployable in all types of sewer networks, including combined sewers, sanitary sewers, and separate stormwater systems. While the specific issues differ between the system types and their settings, they are all affected by the same set of circumstances arising from climate change and aging/undersized infrastructure.
