Support the Youth recognise and build on the potential of young people, developing and expanding their vocational skills, helping them into employment by providing an individual bespoke development plan. Working with a network of local businesses including “Delivery Partners” (who will be delivering the training and coaching programmes) and “Business Club Members” (who will offer work placements with employment opportunities).

We work with young people who:
•Schools and other agencies are struggling to support within mainstream education.
•Have no working family role models.
•Are in need of the right support to enable them to make informed choices for a successful future.
•Are referred to us by the local authorities, the Prison and Probation Services, Courts, Police, Job Centre, and other Charities

We offer a choice of interventions including:
1) Raising Aspirations - Interactive motivational sessions
Sam’s Story – an inspirational success story.
Life and Work – a facilitated session to listen and discuss alternative career pathways.

2) Preparing for Work - Interactive sessions about the ‘World of Work.’
How to get a job – Job Search, CV Preparation, Applications, Interview Preparation and Interview Skills and Follow-Up.
What to expect as an employee.
What do employers expect and how to keep your job?
Work placements and visits.

3) School Based Projects
We offer ideas and ongoing support to income generating projects. Student involvement will improve and develop life and work skills, knowledge and behaviours.

4) 21st Century Learning Opportunities
Opportunities to gain experience in Digital Marketing and how to create your own business.

5) One to One Support
We offer individual bespoke development plans and provide coaching support on a one to one basis. We help to improve, communication, self-presentation, confidence and self- esteem.
