The Sympower software platform responds to disturbances and fluctuations in supply and demand on the electricity grid within seconds, by regulating electricity consumption of appliances and machinery across multiple sectors. By deploying the Sympower aggregation platform instead of the generation of additional electricity using polluting power plants, overproduction is avoided and net CO2 emissions are significantly reduced, contributing to a more efficient and future proof energy system. The appliance and system owners, our contributors, are paid for their participation in balancing services and frequency reserve for the grid, generating extra revenue from existing systems.
