The first time I came in contact with 3D printers, I was hooked. I like everything that has to do with starting business and AM .
First it is important to understand what the problem is. The two problems the 3D Printing market is facing:
1) You need to be a techy to 3D Print something. A 3D Printer is very difficult to operate.
2) In 2020 there will be intellectual property losses of $100 billion year on year. Designers, also brands, are afraid to loose control over their intellectual property when they share 3D print models.
SYP solves these 2 problems :
1) SYP solves the first problem by one simple print button named Make-IT. We are the play button from spotify for 3D Printing. You see a song you like and you hit ‘play’ and you hear the song. You see an online design you like and you hit Make-IT and the printer starts printing. Now, my mother or even my grandmother can operate a 3D Printer!
