Since I met Karina over a year and a half ago, Taqadam as a product has evolved into a more mature and impactful solution, but what has remained constant is the determination Karina demonstrated over the years.
Often times at an early stage it takes time for founders to identify the right market for them and their technology, and it's during that time, that a founder's conviction and passion matters the most. Karina has impressed me with her resiliency and ability to work "lean". Her ability to do so has inspired people to support/join her team and ultimately brought Taqadam to the solid position they are now in. They now have a clear roadmap and plan for growth. It is for that reason that I support and recommend Karina and the Taqadam team.
Taqadam solves an important inherent problem of AI - preparing data sets - in an efficient and innovative way.
Karina is a committed and resourceful entrepreneur, focused on making the company successful. I've been following her progress with Taqadam since the very beginning and I'm impressed with the speed of execution and what she has been able to achieve with limited resources she have.
As a founder of a TechStars company (Boston Fall 2014) I believe Taqadam is a very promising company and would be a great match for the TechStars family.
Karina and the team at Taqadam have developed a technology with a single goal, to democratize visual AI. Taqadam is technology and data with purpose and given that visual AI is sector agnostic the opportunities and the platforms to operate are only limited by the teams creativity.
I am excited to assist in the future of Taqadam.
Taqadam is a fantastic resource supporting the rapidly growing AI industry. Karina is a highly intelligent and motivated entrepreneur with a strong mission driven approach. During her time at C5’s accelerator program in Washington DC it was clear that she has the grit, the sense and the determination to make a very successful business that also does good through the people that it employs. We were drawn to the business because of its success in driving employment amongst the refugee community in lebanon. I would encourage anyone who is looking for affordable and ethical AI image annotation to consider working with Taqadam.
Karina is a one of a kind visionary, inspiring, super smart CEO who's focused on actually making the world a better place.
She understands how technology works from an entrepreneur perspective, she understands the social problems around the world and her idea of making use of people (especially women in 3rd world countries where jobs are hard to find) to label AI data is extraordinary and ingenuous. I can't see anyone else doing what she does other than Karina.
Taqadam is not only about the technology - which is beyond stellar by any means - but it's also about social impact, social transformation, people working in tandem with AI systems, and finally about women freedom.
Taqadam is technology with purpose. Karina and the team are not only building meaningful tech, but also creating much needed opportunities for refugees in the middle east. I have an infinite amount of admiration for the company's vision, it is not everyday we encounter this devotion towards social causes.
Taqadam is special not only because of its drive for social impact, but also because of their technology. The team has managed to build an impressive product and already active in the market, moving forward at a fantastic pase. I am very excited to see the future of Taqadam, the new products they create, the new clients they work with, and the massive social impact they have the potential to create.
I've known Karina for several years now and she is a committed, hard-working founder working to provide quality work opportunities to vulnerable people in the Middle East - a social cause powered by a product vision I admire.
I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next for Taqadam, now that the product is market-tested and ready to scale.
It is rare to find a startup that adds value to technology and at the same time creates a positive impact for refugees. Seen her background, Karina has found a way to impact both. She is an example of bootstrapping for a better future, not only for herself!
