We grow sisal plants, working with farmers to hedge their farms against invasion by cattle and other animals. We are working with residents of drought ridden areas to plant the sisal seeds. These is used to produce sisal fibre for the construction industry. We cut sisal leaves from sisal plants. The plants are now fed into a decorticator machine we built. The leaves are scraped to reveal wet fibre. The fibre is then washed and dried. After drying it is combed by a machine we equally built from scratch. These fibres are supplied to house builders for ceiling decoration. It is called in local parlance POP ceiling. It beautifies the interior and even exteriors of houses, halls, hotels, etc....
