Analytics: Follower count is no longer the exclusive metric in influence. What separates The Gramlist is the fact that we carefully monitor every account we recommend with for weeks at a time, studying alternative key metrics such as growth rate, daily posting average, and, most importantly, audience engagement.

At present a brand could pay upwards of $25,000 for a single Instagram post from an "influencer" with 1mm followers and a 1% engagement rate. That is 10,000 engaged followers!

Instead of allocating significant budget to working with one overexposed influencer with a large social following and low engagement - work with many up-and-coming influencers, with high-engagement and a truly authentic feed. These "micro-influencers" are rarely tapped by brands and only stand to benefit by working side-by-side.
