THINGENIOUS is a spinoff company of the University of West Attica. It has been established in February 2019, following the approval by the administration board of Piraeus University of Applied Sciences (one of the two institutions which have merged to create UniWA) on March 2018. The company has been established in order to exploit the research results coming out of the work of the Computer Networks & Services Research laboraTory (CoNSeRT), in its main focus is in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, smart infrastructures, mobile and wearable computing. The expertise in management of research projects of the company’s administration, and the link of the spin-off to the University of West Attica which will prove useful in recruiting highly skilled, motivated engineers, are the guarantees for the successful completion of all tasks in which it will be involved: research dissemination and management.
