Members engage through a technology platform that is "amazon" like easy to use that allows them to interact directly with the suppliers 24/7/365. Thrive GPO is building out the technology and this capability and expanding its functionality to make it as easy as possible for Buyers and Sellers to conduct business with one another. The members can choose to pay for their purchases with a credit card, or they can submit a credit application to the supplier they choose to be approved for credit terms which will then provide invoicing directly from supplier to buyer.

In addition, Thrive GPO provides a procurement desk function that allows members to submit requests via an online requisition form. Thrive then goes out to a marketplace of over 70,000 suppliers to competitively bid those unique requirements and delivers back to the member the bid outcomes for them to make a decision on whether or not to proceed. In the future, Thrive will expand its services to include strategic sourcing consulting for members who have high spend in unique categories that they want to optimize. In essence, Thrive GPO becomes the procurement function for its nonprofit members, allowing them to focus on their mission and do the great work they do without having to work about the administrative burdens posed by these needs.
