Recently, workplace wellness programs have gained importance, The global workplace wellness market size was valued at $49.81 billion in 2019, and is projected to reach $66.20 billion by 2027, registering a CAGR of 5.9% from 2020 to 2027. 
In addition, the COVID-19 pandemic has underlined to prioritize health and wellbeing of employees, in terms of physical and mental health. Nonetheless, companies struggle to onboard employees in their wellness programs due to privacy.

The Health-ID app is a simple to use digital collector of tamper-proof health credentials that can display for verification purposes, various health certificates about the health-ID holder in the most secure way.
By “tamper-proof” credentials, we refer to the result of a “hashing” process published in the blockchain; thanks to properties typical of blockchains, such proofs cannot be altered, can be instantly verified without the need of any third party. Thanks to H-ID, the individual can share his/her medical test results with third parties to directly prove the veracity of a health claim in the context of a pre-employment check, to have better insurance plans or access preventive care.
H-ID allows the individual to share only the relevant portion of the health data, with full respect of the individual’s privacy, preventing cyber-risks at the same time. In the corporate context, considering that the cost of data breaches is on the rise, each sensitive record breached costing to the company $150, it allows employers to de-risk employees’ health records management and foster their employees’ wellness.

How it works

Once the user has registered their details via the Health-ID mobile phone application and has verified his/her identity, they can access a wellness program offered by their employer or purchase a test, made available by accredited healthcare providers who are part of the TiiQu ecosystem.
The system is empowered by a unique scoring system that measures sets of claims' trustworthiness at a given time. This allows the employer to monitor health level standards without necessarily accessing the specific data.
