1. Vacation market is still offer-first

The current travel market is offer-first. People tend to go on holiday to places that the web or friends/family recommend, or simply to popular destinations. But these generic offerings are hard to match to the individual needs. Do you have kids? Are you gay? A woman traveling alone? Like to hike, ski? Looking for good weather but not farther than 3 plane hours? Users must do all the work of browsing the industry offering and match them with their individual requirements.

2. Vacation organization is still a logistical nightmare
- Select the right destination matching you personal needs, and those of your fellow travelers.
- Select the accommodation that fits your daily vacation objectives - what will you visit, amenities close-by, space and comfort for all travelers, etc.
- Transport to destination - By car? By plane? Which are the best offerings? Which destinations that match my desires ALSO match the flights I can afford?
- Transport during vacation - Walking distance to the town center? Taxi? Car hiring? Transportation from Airport to accommodation?
- Safety and visa requirements - Can you travel there? What is the involved paperwork? Is it safe?
- Geographicaly constrained - Most offerings are catered to specific geographies, forcing users to check multiple sources if they want to travel internationally
