Unilance connects carefuly selected freelancers with companies in the tech and finance field. The freelance market growth is limited by the lack of transparency and the fear of a security breach. Therefore, we try to deal with these problems by putting a focus on project management and security.
Specialized in his field (A.I, web development, finance), the project manager is in charge of structuring the customer’s project. He creates specifications with the company, selects three freelancers adapted to the project with track-proven record and follows the project until completion. The project manager is also in charge of interviewing the freelancers who will be able to work on our platform. He is helped by advanced technological tools:
- A matching algorithm to select the best freelancers for a job
-An automated interview process to filter the number of applicants to our platform
- An artificial intelligence algorithm to evaluate whether the freelancer’s soft skills match our platform and the company’s values

With GDPR coming in force, companies have to be very careful with their data if they do not want to be fined: They cannot send data directly to freelancers’ personal devices such as laptops. This will greatly limit the expansion of the freelancing market as most companies cannot afford to set up a company computer for a short-term mission.
We solve this problem by creating a cloud platform on which the freelance logs on to do the mission. This platform contains Unilance security policies as well as optional security policies that may be required by the customer. For instance, the freelancer will not be able to download data to his personal computer, to access unauthorized website or install unauthorized software. This will allow the freelancer to work with maximum security and GDPR compliance.
