2) Collect data

UCW API is used to push any data from devices. A developer can choose to store them in either our storage or use services of other providers (e.g. Azure IoT Hub). The very same API can also be used to obtain either your data or data provided by someone else.

4) UCW Portal

Used for project management of various IoT use cases. A project in the UCW Portal is represented by a set of devices that can be organized into numerous groups. For these devices, we can perform a variety of operations such as remote management, monitoring, firmware upgrade of selected devices, data analyses, data visualization and much more. Developers can extend the portal functionality using add-ons from the UCW Marketplace.

5) UCW Gateway

A hub for devices with limited communication capabilities such as sensors. The gateway device disposes of a local cache where it stores data temporarily in case communication with UCW IoT Cloud or customer hosted server fails. It sends the data the moment the communication is restored. The UCW gateway can be also used for remote management and monitoring.

6) UCW Hive

UCW Hive is a product based on the UCW platform primarily targeted on smart homes and industrial buildings. It is an IoT hub allowing to control and manage IoT devices. The UCW Hive supports extending its functionality by installing applications from the UCW Marketplace.

7) UCW Marketplace

The goal of the marketplace is to create an ecosystem that helps IoT developers share add-ons, firmware and other smart applications for the UCW Portal or UCW Hive. These extensions are essential for creating more complex IoT applications.
