Velmenni has developed a new Optical wireless communication technology for high speed data transmission using visible & invisible part of the light spectrum. Using Velmenni's OWC/Li-Fi technology, any of the LED based lighting luminaire can be converted into internet hot spot as equivalent to a Wi-Fi hot spot, only difference being that the media for data transmission is the spectrum of light.
Lighting infrastructure globally has seen major transition from incandescent lights to LEDs in the last few years and with Velmenni's technology, the same infrastructure can be used to provide data connectivity along with illumination.

In such cases, Velmenni's OWC/Li-Fi technology will create immense opportunities to set up an alternative wireless network. Velmenni has created Li-Fi Access Points & Li-Fi Receivers to enable optical wireless communication between the light sources & user's smart gadgets.

Specifically in the aviation domain, our technology poses immense potential in terms of creating a dedicated wireless network inside the aircraft cabin using the reading & side wall lights of the PSU. The same network can be used to create wireless In Flight Entertainment solutions & internet connectivity for the passengers. OWC/Li-Fi technology can be used to create wireless solutions for the cockpit too and we have a well defined roadmap for the same.
