Venture Sharks gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to present their businesses to an expert panel hungry for the next great deal. If you think you have what it takes to swim with the sharks, apply by March 16, 2016.

Preliminary winners will be announced on April 1st and the first round will be held April 16th. Then on May 4th, the finalists get into the water with our investor sharks at the May Venture Connectors meeting, held in downtown Louisville at the Muhammad Ali Center.

Christian Betz is a senior at U of L. He is in the business school, majoring in Marketing and minoring in Entrepreneurship. He is a driven entrepreneur ready to start up a business in the Louisville/Southern Indiana area. He has extensive sales experience, in the automotive and cellular sales industry. He has been developing and growing his idea of the “Charging Buddy” into a reality in the last 2 semesters during his Entrepreneurship courses. He has found a problem in the marketplace that consumers want a solution for. He is an entrepreneur with leadership qualities, ready to launch his business. Christian has taken the initiative to prototype the Charging Buddy, working with LVL1, Louisville's hackerspace. I've seen him first hand go through at least 3 iterations in one night.
